In 1999, NMT Group was founded with a simple but bold ambition: to make RoRo shipping seamless, reliable, and accessible for businesses everywhere. What began as a small, specialised logistics provider quickly grew into a global leader in Roll-on/Roll-off shipping, connecting industries and markets across continents.
Today, NMT operates 32 dedicated offices and partners with trusted agents in over 50 countries, creating a worldwide network that ensures the same high-quality service, innovative solutions, and personal customer care no matter where your business takes you. With more than three decades of experience, we’ve mastered the art of moving vehicles, machinery, and heavy cargo with speed, precision, and care. We remain agile, able to adapt to changing markets, embrace new technologies, and stay focused on what matters most: delivering value to our customers.

Netherlands
The year we were founded! From one office in the Netherlands to a worldwide network spanning 30+ offices across 50+ countries, NMT's story is one of steady growth, global connections, and a passion for making RoRo shipping seamless everywhere.
Singapore
We set sail into Southeast Asia with NMT Singapore PTE Ltd. our very first overseas expansion!
Dubai & Belgium
Double the growth! Opened NMT International Shipping LLC in Dubai, the gateway to the Middle East, and NMT Belgium BVBA in Antwerp, right in the heart of Europe.
Spain & Scandinavia
Hola, España! We expanded into Alicante, Barcelona & Valencia with NMT International Shipping España S.L. Meanwhile, Scandinavia joined the network with NMT Scandinavia AB in Gothenburg.
India & UK
We launched offices in Mumbai & Chennai, welcoming NMT Shipping Pvt Ltd. and hopped over to the UK with Southampton, Sheerness, and Ireland joining the map as NMT International Shipping UK Ltd.
Jordan
NMT Jordan opened in Amman as part of our regional expansion, reinforcing our commitment to the Middle East and enhancing our ability to serve partners and clients across the region.
Korea
Annyeong, Korea! With great enthusiasm, we set up NMT International Shipping Korea Inc. in Seoul!
USA
Hello, America! Our US journey began with offices in St. Petersburg (FL) and Elizabeth (NJ), introducing NMT USA Inc.
Germany & France
A European triple hit! Opened NMT Deutschland GmbH in Bremen and NMT France SARL in Marseille & Paris - a huge year for Europe!
Australia
G'day, Oceania! We touched down in Brisbane, Fremantle & Melbourne with NMT Oceania PTY Ltd, a great triple threat!
Sutcliffes Maritime UK
In May of 2012, we warmly welcomed Sutcliffes Maritimes into the NMT Group, begining our exciting journey of our current 'Four Brands, One Team' operation!
China & New Zealand
Coming in fast with NMT China Co., Ltd. opening in Shanghai, and then NMT Oceania NZ Ltd. in Auckland joined the network.
Namibia
Africa is calling! We proudly launched NMT Shipping Namibia Pvt Ltd. in Walvis Bay, marking an exciting milestone in our expansion and strengthening our footprint across the African continent.
Finland
We embraced NMT Shipping Oy in Helsinki with open arms, strengthening our brand in the Nordic!
AB Plant Shipping
In December 2017, we proudly welcomed AB Plant Shipping into the NMT Group, joining the operation of 'Four brands, One Team!'
Canada
Oh Canada! NMT International Shipping Canada Ltd. in Toronto expanded our North American reach.
Acquired by Stena AB Sweden
In the year of 2019, NMT was offically acquired by Stena AB, one of Swedens largest family-owned companies.
Hansen Shipping
In October of 2020, with great pride and achievement we welcomed Hansen Shipping into the NMT Group, being our final additoin of our 'Four brands, One Team' goal!
Turkey
Merhaba, Turkey! Our Istanbul representative office became the latest addition to the NMT family, welcoming NMT Türkiye.
Tianjin, China
Joining NMT China Co., Ltd. alongside our Shanghai office, we proudly welcomed a great office and team to Tianjin!
Abu Dhabi
We officially launched operations in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant expansion within the UAE to serve a broader and more diversified customer base.
Translink Singapore Acquisition
Aquiring Translink in 2025, gave us the room for further expansion and support in Singapore alongside our office.
Japan
